What is an Amazon review service?
An Amazon review service is a third-party company that helps sellers grow or manage product reviews. The category runs from illegal fake-review brokers to legitimate services such as review-request automation and product testing marketplaces. The difference that matters: legitimate services grow the things Amazon allows, real orders and compliant review requests. Banned services try to manufacture the reviews themselves.
An Amazon review agency is the same work, done for you: an agency plans and runs the program and reports back, instead of handing you a tool. Ask the same question of any vendor, service or agency: does it grow real orders from real shoppers, or does it produce reviews? The first builds a listing that lasts. The second leads to a suspension.
The 3 types of Amazon review services in 2026
Almost every vendor you will find falls into one of these three groups. Only one of them grows your business.
Fake review brokers
The "50 verified reviews for $299" sites. They post reviews from fake or hijacked accounts. Amazon removes those reviews, flags the listing for manipulation and suspends sellers who use them. Since October 2024 the FTC can also fine both the broker and the buyer.
Review clubs and "rebate after review"
Free or discounted product in exchange for a review, sometimes dressed up as a rebate that unlocks after you post. Amazon has banned this model since 2016, and disclosing it doesn’t make it allowed. If the flow ends with "…and then leave a review", it is a review club with better branding.
Services that grow real inputs
Amazon Vine, review-request automation, and product testing marketplaces like ReveuBuddy. None of them manufacture reviews. They grow what Amazon allows: real orders from real shoppers, plus compliant requests to those shoppers. Most sellers who grow steadily stack all three.
Amazon's own program in the third group is Amazon Vine. It is useful, but limited to Brand Registry + FBA listings with fewer than 30 reviews, 30 units per parent ASIN, and one enrollment per ASIN. Our comparison of programs like Amazon Vine covers what to use when Vine won't take your listing.
What a good Amazon review service or agency should do
"Review management" covers several different jobs, and most vendors only do one of them. Before you compare prices, check whether a provider does all three of these:
- 1
Generate real orders
Reviews only come from customers, and every review strategy depends on how many real orders a listing gets. A good provider grows orders from real shoppers who find your listing the way normal shoppers do: through search.
- 2
Measure and report every order
You should see each order: who claimed it, which keyword they searched, the order ID, and its status. A provider that sends you a monthly "reviews delivered" number and nothing else is hiding how those reviews got there.
- 3
Stay inside the rules, in writing
A good provider can tell you exactly what it will not do: no paid reviews, no review requirements, no sentiment conditions. It also builds those limits into the product, so a member of staff can’t quietly break them.
Monitoring and review-request tools handle the second half of the job. We compared them in our guide to Amazon review management tools. ReveuBuddy handles the first job, real orders, which every other tool depends on.
How the ReveuBuddy Amazon review service works
Four steps, shown in the actual seller dashboard. Every number you see comes from an order you can check yourself.
1. Set your ASIN, keywords and pace
Enter the product, the exact search phrases you want shoppers to use, the number of test orders and a daily claim limit. The daily limit drip-feeds orders so they arrive steadily, the way organic demand does, instead of all at once.

2. Fund it into escrow
The campaign budget is held in escrow, not paid out up front. Each campaign card shows the budget, the amount reserved for claims in progress, the amount paid out and what remains. Unclaimed and incomplete orders go back to your balance automatically.

3. Verify every order yourself
Manually verified testers search your keywords, find your listing and buy it at full price on the marketplace. They then submit the order ID and an order screenshot, and you approve or reject each one. Funds are released only after you approve.

4. Track it claim by claim
Every claim against every campaign shows in one report: buyer, store, order ID and status (claimed, purchased, order submitted, completed or rejected). There is no black box and no single "results" number to take on trust.

What you get
Each feature, what it actually means, and why it matters for ranking and for staying within the rules.
| Feature | What it means | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Keyword-targeted test orders | Shoppers find your listing through the exact phrases you choose, the way organic buyers do. | Orders that start from a search are the kind of sales activity Amazon’s ranking rewards. Orders through a direct link are not. |
| Manually verified testers | Every tester account is checked by a person before it can claim a campaign. | Real people with real accounts, not account farms. This is the main thing that separates a testing marketplace from a review broker. |
| Full-price purchases | Testers pay the listed price on the marketplace. No coupon codes and no discounted links. | The order looks and counts like any other customer order, because it is one. |
| Escrow-protected budget | Funds are reserved per claim and released only after you approve the order. | You never pay for an order that didn’t happen, and unused budget comes back automatically. |
| Daily claim limit (drip feed) | You cap how many shoppers can claim each day. | Steady daily orders look like normal demand. Sudden spikes look like manipulation. |
| Claim-by-claim reporting | Every buyer, order ID and status for every campaign, in one report. | You can audit everything, and you can show that audit to anyone who asks. |
| Structured product feedback | Testers report on the real product experience: quality, packaging, instructions, expectations. | You fix the problems that would have caused 1-star reviews before more shoppers hit them. |
| 5 marketplaces, 9 regions | Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart and Target listings in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India and the UAE. | One workflow for every channel you sell on, not a separate vendor for each. |

ReveuBuddy vs a typical review agency, Amazon Vine and review software
An honest comparison, including the places where another option is the better fit. Vine fee tiers are from Amazon's October 2023 Vine fee update.
| ReveuBuddy | Typical review agency | Amazon Vine | Review-request software | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you pay for | Verified test orders from real shoppers (escrowed) | A monthly retainer, often with an undefined scope | $0 / $75 / $200 per parent ASIN, plus the free units | A monthly subscription |
| Creates new orders? | Yes: keyword-targeted, full price | Depends. Many only automate review requests | No. Units are given free to Vine Voices | No. Works only on orders you already have |
| Brand Registry / FBA required? | No | Varies | Yes, both, plus fewer than 30 reviews | No |
| How far it scales | As many test orders as you fund, on any listing, repeatedly | Limited by the agency’s methods | 30 units per parent ASIN, one enrollment per ASIN ever | Limited by your existing sales |
| What you can see | Every claim, order ID and status | Usually a monthly summary | Vine dashboard in Seller Central | Request and response stats |
| Policy risk | Low: reviews never required, paid for or conditioned | Low to severe. Depends entirely on what they actually do | None: it is Amazon’s own program | Low, if it only uses Amazon’s Request a Review |
| Best for | New or stalled listings that need real, keyword-driven order volume | Brands that want everything outsourced and can vet the agency | Eligible new ASINs that need their first reviews | Listings with steady sales and a low review rate |

What we refuse to do
These limits are built into how the platform works, not just written in a policy:
- Pay anyone for a review, in money, product, credit or anything else
- Require a tester to leave a review, or hold back cashback until they do
- Ask for, reward or filter by star rating or sentiment
- Gate reviews, meaning ask only happy customers to post
- Refund buyers only after they review ("rebate after review")
- Use fake, borrowed or bulk-created buyer accounts
- Guarantee a number of reviews, a star rating or a ranking position
- Send shoppers through direct links that bypass search
Red flags: walk away if you see one
Check every Amazon review service or agency against this list. A single match is enough to walk away.
- They guarantee a number of reviews ("50 reviews in 30 days"). Nobody can promise reviews without faking or forcing them.
- They guarantee star ratings. Incentives tied to sentiment are illegal under the FTC rule, not just against Amazon policy.
- They price by the review. Charging per review means the review is the product, and that is the thing that is banned.
- Their "testers" don’t buy anything. No real purchase means no real customer and no transaction you can defend.
- They want your Seller Central password. A legitimate testing service needs your ASIN and keywords, not your login.
- They promise "100% safe, undetectable" methods. That means against the rules and not caught yet.

12 questions to ask any Amazon review agency, answered for ReveuBuddy
Ask every provider you are considering these questions. Here are our answers.
Do you guarantee reviews, ratings or rank?
No. We deliver verified test orders and feedback. Whether a tester reviews, and what they say, is their choice. Anyone who guarantees reviews is either faking them or forcing them.
Do testers pay full price?
Yes. Testers buy at the listed price on the marketplace, through your target keywords. They are reimbursed by ReveuBuddy only after you verify the order.
Is any payment tied to a review?
No. Cashback is released when the seller approves the order. Sharing a review is optional and has no effect on payment. That rule is built into the product, not just written in a policy.
How are testers verified?
Every tester account is reviewed by a person before it can claim a campaign, and every order is checked against its order ID and an order screenshot before funds move.
Where is my money while a campaign runs?
In escrow. Budget is reserved as claims come in and released only after you approve each order. Unclaimed and incomplete orders return to your balance.
Can I control the pace?
Yes. You set a daily claim limit, so orders arrive steadily instead of as one spike, and you can pause or resume a campaign at any time.
Do you need my Seller Central login?
Not for testing campaigns. A campaign needs only your ASIN, product details and target keywords.
Which marketplaces and countries do you cover?
Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart and Target listings across nine regions: the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India and the UAE.
Can I see every order?
Yes. The claims report lists every buyer, store, order ID and status for every campaign, and you approve or reject each order yourself.
Can you remove negative reviews?
No, and neither can any legitimate service. Only Amazon removes reviews, through its own reporting process. What we can do is help you find the product problems behind bad reviews before more shoppers run into them.
Does this work alongside Amazon Vine?
Yes. Vine can give an eligible new ASIN up to 30 reviews, once. Testing campaigns add keyword-driven orders on any listing, as often as you need. Many sellers use both.
What does it cost?
You fund the product cost of each test order plus a per-order service fee, all held in escrow. The fee depends on marketplace, volume and whether you want us to run the campaign, so we quote it on a short call.
What changed for Amazon review services in 2026
Strategies that worked in 2024 or 2025 can now get a listing flagged, or simply stop working. Check any service's playbook against these three changes:
The FTC can fine buyers as well as brokers
The FTC Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule (16 CFR Part 465) took effect on October 21, 2024. It bans fake and AI-generated reviews, incentives tied to sentiment, and brokering fake reviews. Courts can impose civil penalties of up to $53,088 per violation. The seller who buys is exposed, not only the vendor. Our plain-English FTC guide explains what that means in practice.
Reviews no longer carry across very different variations
From February 12, 2026, rolling out by category through May 31, 2026, Amazon stopped sharing reviews across variations with significant differences. A strong parent review count can now hide weak child listings, so plan review volume for each child ASIN.
Vine is a one-time, 30-unit tool
Amazon now allows one Vine enrollment per ASIN, ever, on top of the 30-unit cap and the fewer-than-30-reviews rule. Vine can start a listing off, but it can't keep one growing. Details in our Amazon Vine program guide.
For the full rulebook, see our Amazon review policy explainer.
How pricing works
No subscriptions and no retainers. You pay for verified test orders, and every dollar is held in escrow until each order is approved.
- Product cost. The listed price of each test order, which the tester pays at full price on the marketplace.
- Per-order service fee. Covers tester verification, order checks, escrow and reporting. It depends on marketplace, volume and whether our team runs the campaign.
- Refunds built in. Unclaimed and incomplete orders go back to your balance automatically. You never pay for an order that didn’t happen.

A strong fit if you…
- Are launching a new ASIN that needs its first keyword-driven orders
- Have a listing that has stalled on page 2 or 3 for its main keyword
- Can’t use Vine: no Brand Registry, FBM, already past 30 reviews, or already enrolled once
- Sell on more than one marketplace and want one workflow for all of them
- Want product feedback before more shoppers find the problems
Not the right fit if you…
- Want a guaranteed number of reviews or a guaranteed star rating (no honest provider offers that)
- Only need more reviews from customers you already have. Review-request software is cheaper
- Want social media content rather than marketplace orders. Hire creators instead
- Have a product with known quality problems you are not ready to fix
Amazon review service: common questions
What is an Amazon review service?
An Amazon review service is any third-party company that helps sellers grow or manage product reviews. The category ranges from illegal fake-review brokers to legitimate services such as review-request automation and product testing marketplaces. The legitimate ones grow what Amazon allows, real orders and compliant review requests, instead of manufacturing reviews.
Is it legal to use an Amazon review service?
It depends on what the service does. Buying reviews, paying for reviews and tying incentives to review sentiment are prohibited by Amazon and, in the US, by the FTC Consumer Reviews Rule, with civil penalties of up to $53,088 per violation. Services that generate real orders or send Amazon’s own review requests, without conditioning anything on a review, stay inside those rules.
What is the difference between an Amazon review service and an Amazon review agency?
Mostly the level of involvement. A review service usually gives you a tool or platform you run yourself. A review agency runs the work for you: strategy, campaigns, monitoring and reporting. ReveuBuddy offers both: a self-serve platform, and a done-for-you option where our team runs campaigns alongside keyword analysis and PPC management.
Can Amazon sellers pay for reviews?
No. Amazon prohibits giving anything of value in exchange for a review, with Amazon Vine as the only program it runs for that purpose. What sellers can pay for is everything around the review: advertising, Vine enrollment fees, review-request software, and testing campaigns where shoppers buy and test the product and any review stays voluntary.
How do I get Amazon reviews legally?
Use Amazon’s Request a Review button or compliant automation for every order, enroll eligible new ASINs in Vine, keep inserts neutral (never ask for a positive review), and grow real order volume through advertising and keyword-targeted testing campaigns. Our step-by-step guide to getting Amazon reviews covers each method.
Do ReveuBuddy testers have to leave a review?
No. Reviews are never required, purchased or conditioned. Testers are reimbursed once their order is verified, whether or not they ever write a review.
How fast can I start a campaign?
Create a seller account, fund your balance and submit a campaign with your ASIN, keywords, number of test orders and daily limit. It goes live once it is approved, and orders then arrive at the daily pace you set.
Does ReveuBuddy work for sellers without Brand Registry or FBA?
Yes. Unlike Amazon Vine, testing campaigns need neither Brand Registry nor FBA, and there is no cutoff based on how many reviews a listing already has. They also run on Etsy, eBay, Walmart and Target listings.
Real shoppers. Real orders. Every one verified.
Escrow-protected budgets, keyword-targeted orders and claim-by-claim reporting. Reviews always voluntary. Start a campaign yourself, or let our team run it.
