Trust & Safety at ReveuBuddy
Both sides of a marketplace need to know the other side is real. Here is exactly how members are verified, how money is held, and what we will and will not pay for.
How campaigns are protected
Every member is verified by a person
Testers and sellers are both manually reviewed before they can claim a deal or launch a campaign. No automated sign-up gets straight through, and no bot accounts take part in campaigns.
Budgets sit in escrow
A campaign is funded up front and the money is held before it goes live. Claiming a deal locks that claim’s share of the budget, so a tester is never asked to buy against funds that might disappear.
Nothing pays out without an order ID
A tester submits the order ID from their own purchase and the seller confirms it against their records. Only then does escrow release. That confirmation step is what makes every completed claim traceable to a real transaction.
Unfinished claims are refunded automatically
Unclaimed deals, cancelled campaigns, and orders that are never completed return to the seller’s balance without anyone having to chase it.
The line we do not cross
ReveuBuddy never requires, purchases, or conditions reviews. Testers are compensated for buying and testing a product — not for their opinion of it, not for a rating, and not for posting anything at all. A tester who writes nothing is paid exactly the same as one who writes a glowing review, and a tester who writes a critical one is paid the same again.
That is not a marketing position. Paying for reviews, or tying any incentive to a review's sentiment, breaches both Amazon's Community Guidelines and the FTC's Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials, which carries civil penalties of up to $51,744 per violation. Structuring campaigns around verified purchases instead is the only version of this that is safe for a seller to run.
We also tell testers directly that if they choose to post about a product they tested, they must disclose the reimbursement — see our plain-English FTC guide and our Amazon review policy explainer.
Trust and safety questions
Is ReveuBuddy legitimate?
Yes. ReveuBuddy is a product testing marketplace: sellers fund campaigns into escrow, manually verified testers buy the product at full price through their own marketplace accounts, and funds are released once the seller confirms the order ID. Every payout traces back to a real, verified purchase. It is not a review-selling service, and reviews are never required, purchased, or conditioned.
Is ReveuBuddy a review service?
No. ReveuBuddy sells product testing — verified purchases and structured feedback — not reviews. If a tester chooses to leave a review, that decision and its content are entirely their own, and their reimbursement is identical either way.
Does ReveuBuddy comply with Amazon’s policies?
Campaigns are built around genuine, full-price purchases and voluntary, unconditioned feedback, which is the framing Amazon’s Community Guidelines require. What Amazon prohibits is compensating someone for a review or for a particular rating. ReveuBuddy compensates testers for buying and testing a product, never for their opinion of it.
What about the FTC’s rules on reviews?
The FTC’s Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) prohibits buying reviews, conditioning incentives on the sentiment of a review, and undisclosed material connections. ReveuBuddy does none of the first two, and we tell testers plainly that if they post publicly about a product they tested, they must disclose that they were reimbursed.
How do you stop fake accounts?
Applications are reviewed by a human before an account can claim anything, and each claim is tied to a real marketplace order ID that the seller independently confirms. An account with no genuine purchase behind it cannot complete a claim or trigger a payout.
What happens if a seller refuses to confirm a valid order?
Raise a support ticket from your dashboard. Claims are logged with their timestamps and order IDs, so disputes are settled against a record rather than a memory. Our refund policy sets out how funds move in each case.
